Room
Sponsorship Program
Creating a New Space at Our Place
Women come
to Transitional Housing with very little except a few items of
clothing and personal items. Our building was renovated
over 20 years ago. At that time we installed windows and
doors to make a safe, secure structure as well as kitchen units
in many of the rooms. Some of our 61 rooms still have the
original carpeting.
Your
organization, congregation or group can create a special welcome
by refurbishing and furnishing one of our 61 rooms with
essentials such as bedding, bath and kitchen items, carpeting,
and accessories such as lamps, pictures and window treatments.
This is a great team building project. Contact Jane Amata at 216 781-2250 to find out how your can become involved
in our Room Sponsorship Program.

Wish List
At THI we
have many needs that can be filled by donations, either new or
old. Most women come to THI with only the clothes on their back.
Because the majority of our units are efficiencies, we have a
continual need for household items. Most of the women take
these items when they leave to start their new homes.
Computers are used by the women to practice work skills and for
use in school, and are also a great addition to a new home when
a participant is reunited with her children.
