Sherri Brandon, MSSA

Mrs.
Sherri Brandon has been appointed Executive Director of Transitional
Housing, Inc. (THI.) by its Board of Directors. Mrs. Brandon is a
seasoned professional with extensive experience working with the
chronically homeless population, most recently as Associate/ Program
Director for the past five years with Transitional Housing, Inc
(THI). While at THI, she developed and implemented programs and
services to assist homeless women and their children. Prior to
coming to THI, she served as Associate Director for the Catholic
Charities Homeless Shelter for Women and Children. |

Mrs.
Brandon's career began at Mental Health Services as a Community
Support Service Worker, then as a Referral and Information
Specialist and a Liaison between Mental Health Services and North
Coast Behavioral Health Services.
Mrs.
Brandon completed her internship with Mental Health Services Mobil
Crisis team working with both children and adults with psychiatric
challenges. Mrs. Brandon is an active member of a number of
community coalitions and has recently been appointed to the Office
of Homeless Services Advisory Board. Mrs. Brandon is a
graduate of Ursuline College, 1995, with a Bachelor of Arts, and
Case Western Reserve University, 2000, with a Masters of Science in
Social Services Administration. She also completed the YWCA
Leadership Boot Camp, class of 2006-2007. Mrs. Brandon states, "My
goal is to assure that THI provides the highest quality services so
that every woman and child who calls THI home will have the
opportunity to become self-sufficient and independent.
Expanding our employment, education and
independent living programs are also top priorities, as well as
building solid relationships with area business and the community
leaders will help to ensure that our legacy will continue. It is
truly a privilege to serve in this capacity." |
